National Institute of Biomedical Innovation (NIBIO), Osaka
Postdoctoral Research Associate (or Research Assistant) in Bioinformatics
Updated Feb 14, 2013
In the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Group at the NIBIO, we carry out bioinformatics and computational biology research to assist drug discovery (with research topics ranging from target identification/validation to safety prediction). Our research involves both the analysis of real-life experimental data and the development of novel computational techniques.
A position is currently open, either as a postdoctoral research associate or a research assistant (programmer/systems engineer), to provide support for specific drug discovery projects at the NIBIO and conduct relevant research. (Current research themes include: development of integrated databases; analysis of high-throughput experimental data; and development of novel techniques including the prediction of protein interactions with other molecules. See www.mizuguchilab.org for more details.)
