MANTA Demonstration Database
We used to provide the MANTA demonstration database (MDD) to show the functions of the MANTA platform. However, since we have applied the Japanese Microbiome Database (JMD) to the MANTA platform, which provides more data and comprehensive functions, we deprecated the MDD website. Please visit JMD, a better instance, to try the MANTA platform.
Notice: We are migrating the MANTA platform to a Python-based implementation. Thus, there is some difference between the older Java implemented MANTA basic and NIBIOHM JMD. We will make the new version available soon.
MDD data set is available in the text format which could be used as an example for trying MANTA basic.
The data in MDD is a subset of the NIBIOHN corhort. Details of the original study will be described elsewhere and the whole data will be released with a new publication.
The data was collected from 20 healthy adult volunteers (21 – 41 years old, male) from Minami-uonuma city, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. The 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing for the fecal samples was performed in the National Institutes of Biomedical Innovation, Health and Nutrition (NIBIOHN). Different parameters were collected from the volunteers including physical and exercising measurements, blood profiles, and lifestyle questionnaires (MDD only covers a subset).
